StatementStatement on the Continuity of Higher Education in Gaza
A unified statement on protecting teaching, learning, and institutional continuity across Gaza's universities.

Established by formal mandate from the Presidents of Gaza's non-profit universities, the Emergency Committee provides a unified voice for Gaza's academic community, coordinating international support to sustain and rebuild academic life and resist the erasure of its universities.

The Emergency Committee of Universities in Gaza calls on international partners to support Gaza's universities through sustained, coordinated, and institutionally grounded action.
Our priorities focus on:
The survival and recovery of universities as public institutions,
The continuation of teaching and research, student support, academic partnerships
The long-term rebuilding of university buildings and core infrastructures.
